Why Use Web Video?
Video is more effective than text or picture. It grabs attention and keeps the visitors on your website longer. When a real person introduces your products and services your visitors quickly understand your offering. This encourages enquiries and gives you the chance of converting them into real customers.
Traffic to websites with videos is on the increase, according to Hitwise, and it shows no signs of slowing down.

Ways of putting video on your web page.
  • Assuming that you have a video clip produced, edited, prepared and ready to be delivered...
  • The easiest way is to upload your video to a video hosting site such as YouTube or and embed the link in your page.
  • Adobe Flash media is the most popular method of including video or animation in web pages. If your server supports it then host it on your server as progressively downloading or streaming flash video.
  • If none of the above is an option then you can simply embed your videos using <object> tag. The disadvantage of this method is that the browsers may need specific plug-ins to play the video and also the users may have to wait until the whole file downloads.
